CineTape Measure System (CTM)
This ultrasonic distance measuring device has become state of the art amongst assistant cameramen. The California based company originally designed the Cine Tape for film cameras but it meanwhile has became a 'must have' for all Alexa, RED and other digital camera users.
By continuously measuring distance during a shot, small and subtle subject movements are no longer a problem.
The heart of the CTM are the display unit and the sender/receiver with their distinctive horns mounted on a joint head. Differing cable connectors (a choice of Lemo- and Fisher) guarantee the proper connection between those two and also between the CTM and the camera.
Peli case and extension tubes are recommended accessories.
